Show and Tell:    

We had a very nice selection of member carvings at the September meeting.  Don Gibson brought in two nice pieces, a bowl made from a box elder burl and a plate from pecan taken from the Mason County Courthouse.  Don Kaiser brought in two bowls both made from hackberry.  The first with black lacquer and the second a double dye gloss lacquer.  Gay Dittrich brought in a nice piece made from pecan.  This is a first turning!  Randy Larson presented a very nice piece turned from pecan, also from the Mason County Courthouse.  Sue Bates brought in a ring repair and a very nice bowl.  

   Note that both Don Gibson and Randy Larson presented carvings made from pecan from the  Mason County Courthouse.
