Jerry
DeGroot showed this mesquite bowl that he had dyed. Joe Johnson brought a
cap-sleeve for a mason jar lid with a mini-christmas ornament.

Rich
Grable brought a number of kitchen implements he had supplied with handles.
Bob Franke showed a group of nested boxes (in front). Between the boxes and
the kitchen implements is an intersting bowl of manzenita root by Paul
Hewett. Next to the boxes is a resin casting by Allen Trout titled "Purple
Haze".

George
Taylor went to Arrowmont and was greatly inspired to produce a very
creative, skillful and colorful array.

Finally,
at the Christmas party some members brought boxes turned or constructed for
holding Beads of Courage that young cancer patients earn for each procedure
they undergo in their treatment. Many of the children, in their fight for
life, get so many beads that they have trouble keeping up with them all,
even in a necklace. This year, again, members contributed boxes for the
children. These boxes were delivered in January.
