Ken Morton bought three blanks from James Johnson at James’ open-house in the spring. James demonstrated coring multiple bowl blanks from a single log. Ken made the mistake of bringing his wife and he bought all of the cores and now has Ken making bowls from the lot. He brought the first, and biggest to show us of beautiful box elder. In walked Larry Walton with another beautiful bowl of box elder with a lot of gray highlights as well as the red. Phillip Medghalchi showed two of his latest, an elm burl box and a pecan hollow form with a natural edge.
